Sandra’s Super Bean Flavour Chilli

It tastes even better the next day! Oh baby when it’s cold outside all I want it a bowl of something that makes me feel fuzzy and warm. That calls for a bowl of chillaaaayyyyy!

Sandra's Super Bean Flavour Chilli

Serves: 8-10 Cooking Time: 35 minutes


  • 1 red pepper
  • 1/2 red onion
  • 2-4 garlic cloves
  • 1-2 cans lentils
  • 1 can red kidney beans
  • 1 can black beans
  • 1/2-1 can chickpeas
  • 1 can diced red tomatoes
  • 1-2 small cans corn
  • 1 can peas
  • 1/2-1 cup vegetable broth
  • 1 bay leaf
  • paprika
  • cumin
  • chili powder
  • dehydrated onion
  • garlic powder
  • corn starch (to thicken)
  • optional: chopped carrots



1. Chop veggies and cook on medium to low heat with grape seed oil for a couple minutes


2. Add diced tomatoes and vegetable broth and stir


3. Add bay leaf, minced garlic and stir


4. Add all beans and corn and peas


5. Add spices and stir a little sprinkle here and there (I don't measure) but 1 tsp cumin and paprika and 1/2 tbsp the others, feel free to add spices you like! And add a little corn starch if it is not thick enough
