The Perfect Breakfast

What if I told you that you could have your morning tea and smoothie together in one!

Combine your tea with you smoothie and make a SMOO-TEA! So yummy!

 My morning routine always includes a coffee or a black tea after a nutritious, protein packed breakfast. One of my fav breakfast choices is a smoothie filled so much goodness and they are so filling and nutritious… fruits, veggies, healthy fats, protein powders, mylks, etc!

Well, if you try using a tea as your smoothie base – it adds flavour and/or is caffeinating you too! Creating a smoo-tea is the perfect way to go. Your essentially adding a “iced” tea to your smoothie so you can add your coconut milk or honey or what you like in your tea as well!

You can go fruity, green, black, oolong, herbal, whatever you like to get the par-tea started!

Tropical, green and fruity

Tarzan & Jane Smoothie:

  • Handful of green lettuce
  • Handful of chopped kale
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 frozen small pear
  • 1/2 fresh mango
  • 1/2 cup orange mango juice
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 brewed & cooled cup of Tarzan & Jane tea from (its got green + black tea, papaya, orange & apricot!)
  • Top with passion fruit (key!)

Organic Black Tea (to awaken!)

Creamy Protein Smoo-tea:

  •  1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/2 medium avocado
  • 3 dinosaur kale leaves (no stem)
  • 1 cup brewed & cooled Assam black tea from
